SMa - Singapore Manufacturers' Federation

The Singapore Manufacturers' Federation (SMa), formerly known as the Singapore Manufacturers' Association, was first established in 1932. Its main aim is to champion the Singapore manufacturing sector. With a membership of over 2,800 corporate members ranging from MNCs to SMEs, SMa carries out a myriad of activities to enhance the competitive edge of our members.

As a not-for-profit organisation, SMa is governed by a Council whose members hail from some of Singapore's most established and progressive companies. Through its strong links with the government, SMa is able to represent its members facilitating communication between the government, foreign delegates and the manufacturing community through various events as follows:

- Business Matching Events
- Trade Missions
- Networking Sessions
- Forums, Conferences, Seminars and Workshops
- Dialogues with Government Agencies

In addition, to supplement the activities and events staged to enhance members' knowledge and expertise, SMa also operates five Centres of Excellence to impart specific skills and competencies to members. These centres are:

SMa Centre for Corporate Learning (SMa CCL)

SMa CCL, the preferred corporate training and development centre, reaches out to companies and individuals beyond the manufacturing industry, and conducts more than 400 training programmes and trains over 10,000 people annually. As an accredited Continuing Education and Training (CET) Centre, SMa CCL established CET@SMa to facilitate job matching between employers and job-seekers in the manufacturing and other related industries. Registered with the Council for Private Education (CPE), SMa CCL actively collaborates with government agencies and has established training centres to deliver nationwide quality programmes.
