Psychology: The Study of What Matters Most

Guest Speaker: Dr Eyal Gringart (Course Coordinator)

 

 Time: 7pm – 8.30pm

Synopsis:
In this presentation Dr Gringart suggests that psychology is a most meaningful area of study to human endeavour. A brief history of the field will be offered to enhance understanding and provide context. The relevance of psychology to our lives will be discussed and actual interactive examples of sense perception as well as imagery will be engaged. The undergraduate journey of studying psychology will be explained in terms of content, acquired skills and potential benefits. The broader scope of psychology and its sub-disciplines will be briefly discussed. A revisit of what matters most will be engaged toward closing and questions will be invited.
