   Introduction

The Murdoch Bachelor of Commerce is a fully accredited programme that comprises of Year 1 (Part I) and Year 2 & 3 (Part II) and can be completed in 16 - 28 months in Singapore on a part-time or full-time basis. It also offers students the opportunity to complete a single/double major degree in the following combinations

    • Management
    • Marketing Management
    • Human Resource Management
    • Professional Accounting
    • Finance (NEW)

    Students who are eligible to apply directly into Part II are required to complete only 9 to 12 module

The most recent graduate destination survey showed Murdoch Business School Graduates compete well with those from other universities.    Objectives

This degree is designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge relevant in the field of business management by exploring a wide range of relevant issues, theories and perspectives to equip the graduates with an understanding the complexities and responsibilities of managerial life in the 21st century.

   Programme Outline

Part II of the Bachelor of Commerce comprises of 9 - 14 modules and may be completed in 16 - 20 months spread over 4 - 5 academic trimesters. Students are provided with options to graduate with a single or double major by completing the following modules

   Programme Duration

The Bachelor of Commerce comprises of 12 units delivered over duration of 16 months.

The Bachelor of Commerce programme is 100% delivered in Singapore. This course is offered on a modular basis tailored to meet the needs of busy professionals. Each unit is supported with over 30 - 36 contact hours conducted on weekdays evenings.

   Entry Criteria

  • Polytechnic Diploma in Accountancy holders
  • All Polytechnic Diploma holders
  • Business-related Diploma from other recognized institutions will be review on a case to case basis
  • SMa Diploma in Business Administration

   Application Procedure

Interested applicants are required to submit the following:

    • Duly-completed application form that can be obtained from SMa School of Management or SMa web site
    • Certified true copies of all education certificates and transcripts
    • Application processing fee of S$21 (non-refundable)

* Reservations will not be entertained.

   Withdrawal & Deferment

All notice of withdrawal must be in writing. A full refund of the course fees paid will be made if notice of withdrawal is received more than 60 days before course commencement. If notice of withdrawal is received between 60 to 30 days before course commencment, 75% of course fees paid will be refunded.

No refund will be made after the course has commenced. Course Fee paid will not be refunded in the event of deferment regardless of whether the request made is prior to commencement or after the commencement of the course.

   Changes & Amendments

SMa reserves the right to make changes to the programme structure, admission requirements, course fee, examination rules and regulations, lecturers, date and venue of lectures.
